Hello Guys,
After Christmas and New Year, now it’s time for Chinese New Year 2014, year of the horse. Yaaayyy! What made us so excited for every Chinese New Year is not about the red clothes, red paper, nor red envelope, but, it’s about the precious time of family reunion. As usual, CNY celebration will be started with family dinner on CNY eve. This year, we chose New Shangrila restaurant to spend our CNY eve which is the same as our last year option. This restaurant left us a good memory since it was providing good service on both the food and the event. It was so lively. If you haven’t decided where to spend your CNY eve, you might want to consider this place. It’s cost us at IDR2,388,000/table for up to ten people. π
Anyway, don’t be misinterpret on our review this time, since we are not going to share our last year experience on Shangrila moreover. But, we have a new place for Korean food lover, Seoul Garden. It’s all you can eat Korea barbeque buffet. Actually, they made a big mistake on their sign board due to wrong spelling restaurant name. This made us a little confused at first since we were wondering whether we were going to the right restaurant. It should be written as Seoul Garden, but in fact it was stated as Soul Garden. It would be very much better if they are willing to change their sign board for their own credibility.
BD arrived there around 3 PM, and we just so lucky since they just opened the restaurant. We were the first customer at that time. And now, let’s be a carnivore! π

Wondering what they offered inside? See our list below.
Beef: Sze Chuan Beef, Bulgogi Beef, Teriyaki Beef, Black Pepper Beef, Rendang Beef, Original Beef, Spicy Bulgogi Beef
Chicken: Bulgogi Chicken, Black Pepper Chicken, Original Chicken, Tom Yum Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Rendang Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Sze Chuan Chicken, Char Siew Chicken
Suki: Chicken Meat Ball, Black Pepper Squid, Spicy Squid, Fresh Shrimp, Prawn Ball, Sausage, Crab Stick, Fish Ball, Beef Meat Ball, Gong Gong
Vegetable: Carrot, Cabbage, Mustard Greens, Lettuce, Mushroom, Potato, Bombay Onion
Others: Steamed Rice, Sauces, Bihun, Egg, Kwetiaw, Misua, Shahe Fen
Soup Flavor: Chicken, Tom Yum
Drinks: Lychee Syrup, Orange Syrup
It’s a lot huh?! π As you can see on above list, they have so many food to be chosen. The beef and the chicken came with variety of flavors. When we cooked it all, we just confused which one is the flavor. But, overall, the taste was nice and not over flavored.
The suki also has a lot of meat options. Since it is a processed meat, the taste can be expected. For the soup flavor, unfortunately, they only have chicken soup at that time, so we couldn’t taste the tom yum one. The chicken soup was more delicious when we add the egg inside. It’s also free flow of drinks.
Since this is all you can eat buffet, make sure you are not in rush for other activities. We enjoyed our time here for 2 hours.Β From BD observation, this place is a halal restaurant. There was no pork and they used regular butter for BBQ. Moreover, we saw some Muslim girls getting their dinner at this restaurant too.
Another note from us, there were a lot of baby cockroach and some flies around the table. It was really bothered us and they have to improve the cleanliness of their restaurant seriously.
Price (excluded tax 20%):

Even though it is all you can eat buffet, please make sure you finish everything you take. They will charge IDR50,000 for every 250 grams unfinished food which is fair enough!
