Hope that it’s not too late to say a Merry Christmas to all of you! And now, new year 2015 is just on the corner guys. Time is flying so fast and we are so thankful for this precious year as a lot of great things happened in this year. Exploring Batam culinary from time to time is also one of the great things for us! 😉
Looking for a new place for dinner finally brought us to this place, Biz Hotel Batam. We found that this hotel served a BBQ Buffet Dinner for every Saturday night. Operated since 2013, we can say that this hotel is quite new in Batam. But, we were surprised when we saw a lot of people having dinner here last weekend. Nevertheless, this hotel is located in a strategic Nagoya area, near Nagoya Citywalk. Since dinner start at 18.00 till 22.00 hrs only, we did not want to miss the food and the live entertainment. Here is a big picture for all information we can captured for you guys.
BBQ buffet dinner served at 11th floor, JWO Sky Lounge. The ambiance was cozy and relax as it’s an open air lounge. We can see Batam’s night view from this lounge too. With live music entertainment, it made our Saturday night dinner perfect! As you know guys, we love to hear live music while enjoying our dinner and there was not much restaurant in Batam provide this service.
Now, let’s talk about their food service. When we entered the lounge, we can see they put the appetizer menu near the entrance door. They have salad and soup asparagus. The taste was standard. At the same table, they also put the dessert fruit cocktail. Fruit cocktail consist of melon, watermelon, and papaya. It was fresh and appetizing.
They have BBQ option such as beef, fish, chicken, shrimp, sausage, and corn. There was one chef standing at grill section to keep continue grill all the orders. After giving our item selection to be grilled, we can wait there or ask them to bring it to our table once finished. The taste was standard. For sauce option, they have black pepper and mushroom sauce.
In other section, Buffet table consist of fried rice, bee hoon, capcay, corn fritter, and prawn cracker. All the buffet menu was delectable!
For beverage, they have cordial juice and mineral water. The cordial juice was fresh and not too sweet. Besides that, they also have fresh fruit of watermelon, a very common yet suitable for every dining dessert.
With Rp150,000/nett/person, we think that the price was worth it. If you consider to try this BBQ dinner, don’t forget to come earlier so that you can eat all the menu till drop! 😀

Alright, after a very special Christmas, this is what we like the most, new year countdown celebration. Yaaayy! We are planning to celebrate this new year eve by having dinner together with our big family. How about you guys? Do you have any plan for this coming new year eve? If not, you may want to try new year eve party at Biz Hotel. It’s a BBQ Buffet Dinner with Live Entertainment, Fireworks Party, and Lucky Draw.
